Barry Barnes
Regional Vice President
Barry Barnes is the Regional Vice President of Sales for the Southeast Region, overseeing Texas, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. With 27 years in the LTL industry, Barry finds being part of “Transportation’s Greatest Comeback” one of the most exciting and rewarding chapters of his career. Barry began his logistics career after earning a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Starting on the dock, he supervised inbound and outbound teams, gaining a deep understanding and appreciation for freight movement and the people behind it.
Transitioning into sales, Barry worked in both Field and National Accounts before taking on leadership roles. His greatest fulfillment comes from mentoring sales professionals, helping them embrace challenges, grow together, and celebrate success as a team. Outside of work, Barry enjoys healthy eating, exercising, and fly-fishing for wild trout in the North Carolina mountains.
